Ronin Network anunció hoy que ha seleccionado el Protocolo de interoperabilidad entre cadenas (CCIP) de Chainlink para fortalecer la seguridad del Puente Ronin, mejorando la infraestructura entre cadenas de la red.
La adopción siguió a un competitivo proceso de selección de tres fases, que concluyó con Chainlink superando a otros candidatos, LayerZero y Axelar.
Los validadores de puentes de Ronin eligieron el CICIP de Chainlink debido a sus sólidas características de seguridad. El protocolo ofrece múltiples redes Oracle descentralizadas (DON), una red de gestión de riesgos independiente y otras medidas de seguridad que reducen considerablemente el riesgo de ataques y vulnerabilidades.
“La seguridad fue el factor más importante a la hora de decidir qué protocolo entre cadenas aseguraría el futuro del ecosistema Ronin”, afirmó Phuc Thai, investigador principal de Sky Mavis. “Más allá de la interoperabilidad entre cadenas, estamos interesados en trabajar en la integración del conjunto de servicios Oracle de Chainlink que servirá como una base importante para la próxima fase de crecimiento de DeFi en Ronin”.
La integración comenzará con soporte para transferencias puente entre Ethereum y Ronin, con el objetivo de una migración fluida durante los próximos meses.
Numerosas instituciones financieras importantes y proveedores de infraestructura de mercado han adoptado el CCIP de Chainlink para mejorar sus operaciones, mejorar la interoperabilidad entre cadenas de bloques públicas y privadas y facilitar la transferencia segura de activos tokenizados.
Los socios clave incluyen BNY Mellon, Citi, Euroclear, Lloyds Banking Group y Taurus SA, respaldado por Deutsche Bank, por nombrar algunos. Varios proyectos blockchain también confían en la solución como ZKsync, Sonic Labs y Celo.
“La interoperabilidad segura impulsada por CCIP permitirá a la comunidad Ronin aprovechar al máximo el panorama de múltiples cadenas y acelerar la adopción de los juegos Web3”, dijo Thodoris Karakostas, director de asociaciones Blockchain de Chainlink Labs.
