Los activos de reserva de valor son los reyes
Bitcoiner Anthony Pompliano comentó sobre la revelación, bromeando diciendo que “¡probablemente nada!”
“La apuesta larga de Paul Tudor Jones por Bitcoin y el oro lo dice todo”, respondió la cuenta PiWhales a sus 514.000 X seguidores.
“La inflación como solución al problema de la deuda podría hacer que los activos descentralizados como Bitcoin sean aún más atractivos”, añadió.
Bitcoin llegó a estar dentro del 6,5% de su precio máximo el 21 de octubre, pero ha retrocedido al nivel de 67.000 dólares en los últimos días.
Los precios del oro han subido un 33% este año y cotizan por encima de los 2.750 dólares por primera vez en la historia. Mientras tanto, los precios de la plata se cotizan ahora a su nivel más alto desde 2012, con un aumento de más del 46% en 2024.
Jones explicó que la inflación ocurrirá sin importar lo que haga el banco central porque el país necesita abordar sus problemas de relación deuda-PIB.
“Si estamos tratando de estabilizar la deuda con respecto al PIB, queremos aplicar la política monetaria más moderada posible sin permitir que la inflación se convierta en un impuesto demasiado grande para la ciudadanía”.
La deuda pública total de Estados Unidos como porcentaje del producto interno bruto es actualmente del 120%. de acuerdo a al Banco de la Reserva Federal de St. Louis.
Una relación deuda-PIB elevada puede limitar la capacidad de un país para responder a shocks económicos, aumentar el riesgo de incumplimiento de la deuda y generar tasas de interés más altas. También puede conducir a un círculo vicioso de deuda, inflación y reducción del potencial de crecimiento económico, amenazando en última instancia la estabilidad económica del país a largo plazo.
La deuda nacional de Estados Unidos asciende actualmente a la friolera de 35,7 billones de dólares y está aumentando exponencialmente.

Los bancos centrales no están de acuerdo
