Los ETF spot de Bitcoin y Ethereum rompieron la racha negativa registrada la semana pasada y pusieron fin a la actual con entradas netas.
Sin embargo, la situación en torno a los ETF de ETH es bastante decepcionante, por decir lo menos, una vez más.
La demanda de ETF de Bitcoin ha vuelto
criptopatata informó el fin de semana pasado sobre el terrible panorama con respecto a los flujos netos hacia los 11 ETF de Bitcoin al contado con sede en EE. UU. Después de ocho días consecutivos de entradas netas, la situación había cambiado y más de 274 millones de dólares abandonaron los productos durante toda la semana.
Sin embargo, el lunes comenzó con una nota muy positiva, con 235,2 millones de dólares ingresando a los fondos en forma de entradas netas. FBTC de Fidelity y IBIT de BlackRock lideraron el grupo, con 103,7 millones de dólares y 97,9 millones de dólares, respectivamente.
Los inversores cambiaron su comportamiento en los tres días siguientes, con salidas netas de 18,6 millones de dólares el martes, 40,6 millones de dólares el miércoles y 81,1 millones de dólares el jueves. Sin embargo, la semana comercial terminó el viernes con el pie derecho, con otras entradas netas de 253,6 millones de dólares. FBTC estaba a la vanguardia una vez más, con 117,1 millones de dólares, mientras que ARKB de Ark Invest hizo lo mismo con 97,6 millones de dólares.
En consecuencia, las cifras generales de la semana se situaron en 348,5 millones de dólares en entradas netas. Los acontecimientos del viernes coincidieron con, o tal vez impulsaron, un repunte sustancial para BTC, que saltó desde el mínimo del jueves de $58,800 a un máximo semanal de $63,400 antes de retroceder ligeramente a su nivel actual de $62,500.
La captura de ETH
Los ETF al contado de Ethereum también terminaron la semana ligeramente en verde. A pesar de los 8,1 millones de dólares retirados el martes y 0,1 millones de dólares el viernes, las entradas netas del jueves de 10,1 millones de dólares lograron compensar las pérdidas.
Sin embargo, una mirada más cercana a las cifras totales en realidad confirma una narrativa anterior de que simplemente falta la demanda de ETF de ETH. El lunes y miércoles no se registraron flujos reportables. Esto, combinado con un artículo anterior de esta semana que compara los primeros 79 días de negociación de los ETF de Ethereum con los meses iniciales de los ETF de BTC, solidifica la noción de que los inversores muestran poco o ningún interés en la segunda criptomoneda más grande.
Aún así, el precio de ETH también se recuperó de la caída del jueves y ha subido un 2% durante la semana. Actualmente, el activo cotiza cerca de 2.450 dólares, lo que supone unos 100 dólares más que el mínimo semanal.
