Una nueva encuesta realizada por Charles Schwab, una importante casa de bolsa estadounidense que cotiza en bolsa y que gestiona más de 9 billones de dólares en activos de clientes, ha mostrado que el 45% de los encuestados expresaron intenciones de invertir en Bitcoin y ETF criptográficos durante el próximo año.
El sentimiento alcista hacia los criptoactivos ha aumentado entre los inversores de ETF en comparación con el año anterior. En 2023, solo el 38% de los encuestados dijeron que planeaban invertir en ETF criptográficos el año siguiente.
El cambio en las tendencias de inversión de ETF refleja la creciente confianza de los inversores en los criptoactivos. Aún así, las acciones estadounidenses son las principales opciones de los inversores, ya que el 55% planea invertir en 2025. Mientras tanto, el interés en los bonos se mantiene relativamente estable, y el 44% de los inversores dice que planea invertir dinero en ETF de bonos.
Según los resultados, las estrategias de inversión también divergen entre generaciones. Los millennials muestran una mayor propensión al riesgo: el 62% de los encuestados de este grupo planean invertir en ETF criptográficos durante el próximo año.
La Generación X también mostró interés en los ETF criptográficos, y el 44% de los encuestados planea invertir en estos productos. Por el contrario, sólo el 15% de los Boomers se preocupan por estos ETF.
También es más probable que la generación millennial invierta con sus valores y personalice sus carteras. En comparación con otras generaciones, es más probable que inviertan en indexación directa el próximo año debido a su mayor interés en la indexación directa.
El aumento en el interés de los ETF criptográficos se produce en un momento en que el mercado de ETF ha disfrutado de una rápida adopción, probablemente influenciado por el lanzamiento de los ETF al contado de Bitcoin y Ethereum en EE. UU. Estos ETF han informado de tenencias crecientes durante los últimos ocho meses de negociación.
Estos ETF criptográficos aprobados brindan a los inversores una vía regulada adicional para obtener exposición a Bitcoin. Según Eric Balchunas, analista de ETF de Bloomberg, iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) de BlackRock y Bitcoin ETF (FBTC) de Fidelity se encuentran entre los 10 principales lanzamientos de ETF de este año.
