Sin embargo, Jeff Park de Bitwise visto la aprobación como un beneficio neto para la volatilidad, la liquidez y el precio de BTC. Respondió a lo que consideraba una interpretación errónea de las opciones del ETF de BTC de EE. UU.
El sentimiento de Park fue compartido por la mayoría de los analistas que compartieron sus puntos de vista con The Block.
Ed Tolson, director ejecutivo de Kbit, afirmó:
“Los creadores de mercado institucionales, que se espera que tomen el otro lado de estas operaciones, probablemente tendrán una gama corta. Esto significa que es posible que necesiten comprar cuando el precio sube y vender cuando baja, lo que potencialmente amplifica la volatilidad”.
Sin embargo, Michael Harvey, jefe de operaciones de franquicia de Galaxy Digital, proyectó un aumento de la volatilidad a corto plazo, que podría reducirse en el largo plazo.
“Esperamos que los comerciantes minoristas superen en número a las instituciones inicialmente, lo que podría elevar la volatilidad.
